someone once said

I found a love like I have never known,
only to be easily overthrown.
This heart so lightly forgotten was;
lost amid confusion giving cause to shun.
Could she have spoken so
as to wholly quell, and overthrow,
a love that had flourished so well.
All her own forgiveness and grace–
for naught. Such thick patience, gone, forgot.
Could her deep sowing have reaped so poor,
gaining a love like I have never known!
For this isn’t the love I had before.
